Growing up in Detroit, MI and its suburbs I was surrounded by a complete spectrum of world-class visual arts and music. These influences along with the vibrant mix of people and cultures helped shape my interest in the arts.

Much of my artwork disregards a representational structure; it is non-representative, but not unintentional. More recent works often combine modernistic and abstract expressionist elements. Every piece of art is a series of choices, growing in the direction it seeks.

With no rules or boundaries my work springs from pure inspiration, a state of personal emotional expression. I find abstract painting to be an exercise in total commitment, with the direction of my artwork largely inspired by music.

I am privileged to have my artwork in private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
